The Boot, New Zealand
Situated in the heart of the Tasman region in New Zealand, this hotel offers visitors a stay inside a giant boot. The standalone cottage is between the Abel Tasman National Park, Kahurangi National Park and Nelson, serving as a perfect sight for exploring the Tasman Bay. Surrounded by hazelnut trees, the hotel has uniquely-shaped rooms with curved walls making it an eccentric place to stay. Downstairs, in the lounge, there is a fire place for one to relax in front of. Upstairs lies the bedroom with a Juliet balcony that offers magnificent views of the courtyard and pond. Another interesting feature of this hotel is that it uses organic produce as much as possible, like the free range eggs and fruits. The location also adds to the beauty of this hotel as there are plenty of places to discover like the Abel Tasman National Park, mountains, beaches, wineries, galleries, golf courses and the city of Nelson. The Boot is close to the Jester House café which is Tasman’s first country garden café, offering fresh local food.
