Corporate travel specialist Varun Air Services has introduced a new enterprise solution for travel processes of large organisations who have a budget of more than Rs three crore, named 933 Unrestricted. This solution provides consultation for passport and visas assistance with a full-range of service including application forms and visa information. “It is unique because we provide complete real-time data being travel agents as well as technology provider. 933 Unrestricted is a product which is 80 per cent customisable which is a huge benefit to us,” explained Aparna Pendse, MD, Varun Air Services. She further said that existing products in the travel industry focus on prebuying of business travel and/or post buying analysis and spend management. “These products mostly leave actual buying part to manual intervention. In our system the automation is 100 per cent reducing human error to almost zero,” she added.
Business travel in India is now getting its due importance, also clients are taking travel policy seriously as over a period of time it has been proven that no amount of discounts or supplier negotiations can bring in optimum savings as correct policy can. “Our tool 933 provides such controls and transparency,” Pendse assured. For 933 Unrestricted, Varun Air Services is partnering with a software reseller in India and Australia to market the product. “Though it is a travel product it is also a technology solution which fits in with overall technology architecture of any company, this is where software reseller comes into play,” she clarified.
