Udaan India has ventured into a new segment through Udaan DMC, a destination marketing destination. The company, primarily known for its visa facilitation, has been promoting Croatia as a destination for the past two years. Rajan Dua, managing director, Udaan DMC, informed, “The success of handling Croatia led us to tie up with other destination management companies. We will be promoting 27 destinations in Europe, 13 in Africa and nine in Asia, along with the SAARC countries like Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.”
Sumit Banerji, chief commercial officer, Udaan DMC, said, “We are going to focus on exclusive countries with selective experiences. We will be aggressively promoting Bulgaria, Bosnia, Slovenia, Poland, Sweden along with our destinations in Central Asia like Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. To our agents, we will be able to offer special services like a MICE facility in the forest, helicopter rides along a glacier, a music festival on ice, etc.”
Dua further informed, “There are a lot of destinations that are still uncovered and can be offered to our existing clients. We look forward to promote these destinations in the India market.” The company has offices across Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata and will be opening one in Noida soon. All the offices will have separate divisions for the DMC services.
