Accor will open its low-cost hotel brand Formule 1 at Greater Noida in April 2012. Providing a new concept, new design and comfort to its customers, Formule 1 presents a fresh approach to low-cost Indian accommodation. Located in the midst of IT and education hub of Greater Noida, the hotel features 114 functional rooms. Formule 1 is Accor’s innovative budget hotel brand that will promote the concept of standard rooms with a single price for up to three people.
Pesto Pesto, Pune
Pesto Pesto, an Italian Cafe opened recently in Koregaon Park, Pune. Spread over 3000 sq ft, it claims to be the highest café in Pune. In order to keep with the theme of Italy, the menu has a look and feel of an Italian periodical of the 50’s incorporating iconic symbols of that time. The menu has been designed by Karen Anand. The decor at Pesto Pesto is reminiscent of ‘La Dolce Vita’ with mopeds, sunglasses, scarves, Fellini posters and waiters in white jackets.
Radisson Blue Hotel, Chennai
Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the opening of Radisson Blu Hotel Chennai City Centre in India. Radisson Blu Hotel Chennai City Centre offers 162 stylish and modern guest rooms and suites. It has 9,700 square feet of conference and meeting space that can accommodate up to 800 people. It also has a business centre offering the latest business facilities and full secretarial support. Recreational facilities at the hotel include a world class spa – Chakra by Thai Sabai, a gymnasium, an outdoor swimming pool and a discotheque. The hotel also offers a range of food and beverage options, including the largest bar in town with a separate cigar lounge, signature restaurant – The Great Kebab Factory – and specialty coastal Asian Cuisine restaurant – Coast to Coast.

Silver Beach Cafe opened recently in Juhu, Mumbai. Specialising in wine cocktails, fresh sangrias, the menu boasts of its unique upmas for breakfast and signature chocolate pizza for dessert. It also offers New Zealand Lamb chop, fondues risottos.

The Beer Café debuts at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon, NCR. The Beer Café is India’s first PYOB (Pour Your Own Beer) Chain offering consumers the widest variety of beers.
