The evening brought together trade partners such as Cox & Kings, Universal Journeys, U-Tourizmo, JTB tours etc.
Tourism Toronto team visited about 20 offices, meeting trade partners such as Thomas Cook, SOTC, Platinum World Group, Zenith Holidays, Hotel Starwood, Marriot and others for a celebration with their employees.
Speaking on the occasion, Sudarshana Kar, business development manager – MICE, Tourism Toronto, said, “Celebrating Canada Day has now become an integral part of our brand promotions. Each year we look forward to the celebrations as it gives us a chance to meet all our partners and thank them for their efforts in promoting Toronto as India’s preferred MICE destination.”
She further added, “Last year we were able to achieve a growth of over 40 per cent in the number of room nights. To boost this figure, we have now partnered with Air Canada on a joint incentive plan which Indian MICE sellers can strongly benefit from.”
