PATA signs partnership agreement with Universe
The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has signed a partnership agreement with Universe Collaborative Lifestyle (Universe), the social marketplace for events. Under the terms of the agreement, PATA will use the Universe event management platform for registration and ticketing for all of its conferences, workshops, seminars and training programmes. PATA members and PATA Chapter members interested in using Universe will have a portion of their fees waived for their events along with a dedicated account manager.

The company works with over 28,000 events worldwide, and is one of the fastest growing ticketing platforms. Universe has developed highly effective promotional features that help event organisers leverage social media to increase awareness about their events. Their technology also allows event organisers to sell tickets and process payments directly on their website, and on their Facebook page, with no redirect to an external site.
