Paraag Jaiin Nainuttia (IAS) has been appointed as the new managing director of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC). An ex-CEO of Maharashtra Maritime Board, Jaiin is a senior IAS officer of 1996 batch. He took charge from Valsa Nair Singh, who was having additional charge of MD, MTDC. She will continue as the Secretary of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra.
On this occasion Mr Jaiin said, “MTDC has been a renowned organisation in national and international tourism industry circuits. Promotions of Maharashtra Tourism at national and international platforms to create awareness will always remain key elements. We will look into policy making and new guidelines for speedy and effective implementation of the initiatives.”
With more than 18 years of experience in responsible roles in spheres of management and administration, Jaiin brings in expertise in team, project leadership, administration and management.
