To further enhance its flight connectivity from the largest state of India -Uttar Pradesh, IndiGo has announced the launch of Gorakhpur as its 57th destination. The country’s largest low-cost airline, IndiGo is introducing a daily non-stop flight between Delhi and Gorakhpur. This new service will start from September 01, 2018. From Uttar Pradesh, Gorakhpur will be the third city IndiGo will be connecting from, after Lucknow and Varanasi.
The introduction of these flights will bring Gorakhpur closer to the other cities of India with all-inclusive fares starting from INR 3199. William Boulter, chief strategy officer, IndiGo said, “We are pleased to announce Gorakhpur as our 57th destination effective this September 2018. Providing increased connectivity from Uttar Pradesh is in line with our growth strategy in the Indian market, and Gorakhpur is a key market for us. These new services will benefit our customers based both in the numerous cities of India and nearby regional destinations, as Gorakhpur is also a key entry point into parts of Nepal.”
