IndiGo announces six new flights
IndiGo, India’s low-cost airline has announced the launch of six new flights between Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. Effective December 1, 2014, IndiGo will fly its 7th daily non-stop flight between Delhi and Hyderabad, 7th daily non– stop flight between Chennai and Hyderabad and also 7th daily non-stop flight between Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Speaking on the launch of the new flights, Aditya Ghosh, president, IndiGo said, “We are extremely pleased about adding these six new flights and the new ones effective December 15 and January 1, 2015 are testimony of our commitment towards connectivity across the country’s corners bringing more and more people closer to their dreams and new opportunities.”
Enhancing the overall customer travel experience in 2014, IndiGo became the first airline to in June to introduce ‘Advance Pass’ service. Under the free of charge service, the passenger will be checked in and receive the boarding pass in their mail inbox 48 hours prior to the departure at no extra charges. The passengers can also drop their bags at the bag drop counters which are available at major airports.
