India Heritage Walk Festival to start in February
Sahapedia, an encyclopaedia of Indian arts and culture, and Yes Culture, the cultural division of Yes Global Institute, a practicing think-tank of Yes Bank, and have teamed up to host ‘India Heritage Walk Festival’ (IHWF), a month-long, multi-city event, introducing people to the tangible and intangible culture and heritage of their cities
Th festival will be held across 20 cities, starting in February, and will feature walks, Baithaks, Instameets and online film screenings.
Walks
Fifty heritage walks will be held in 20 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and other historically significant cities such as Agra, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Vadodara, Bikaner, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patan, Pune, Udaipur, and Varanasi.
Baithaks
Talk in cities: Kochi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi.
Instameets
In discussion with Instahimachal – Mc Leoad, Pune food hunt – Pune, Indiagram, Delhigram, Whereinnortheast.
Online film screenings
Classics section (smaller in size, collection of acclaimed documentaries specifically on art, craft, dance forms). Jury section (selected by jury based upon entries received in response to call for films).
