FreeCharge partners with redBus
Digital payments platform FreeCharge has partnered with redBus, which will enable FreeCharge users to manage travel requirements through a single wallet. Bus ticketing platform redBus.in operates on over 70,000 routes with 2,300 bus operators.
Speaking on the partnership, Govind Rajan, chief operating officer, FreeCharge, said, “With this partnership, we further expand our reach in commute and travel segment. With a 99 per cent transaction success rate, we are confident to enhance the payments experience of customers.”
Prakash Sangam, CEO, redBus, said, “Customers who use e-wallets find it to be a smooth, convenient and faster way to make payments. Our objective of tying up with FreeCharge is to offer selection of payment options to our customers and to encourage faster payments with higher success rates through the FreeCharge Wallet.”
