The Federation of Associations of Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH), the umbrella association of Indian travel and hospitality industry associations, has announced its plan to hold a Mega FAITH Convention on April 8-9, 2017 (tentative dates) in New Delhi, bringing all the travel trade associations on a single platform to raise their concerns to the policy-makers.
Subhash Goyal is the chairman while S M Shervani and Rajeev Kohli are the co-chairmen for the Mega FAITH Convention 2017. Over 2,500 delegates are expected to attend the event, informed Sarabjit Singh, vice chairman, FAITH. Goyal highlighted, “We are optimistic to have Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest. FAITH has contacted the PMO for availability of dates. Once the same is informed, we will fix the dates accordingly. Besides, every association which is a part of FAITH has nominated a representative who will collectively form the organising committee for the Mega FAITH Convention 2017.”
Singh confirmed that the Mega FAITH Convention 2017 will comprise business sessions and will address the issues concerning the travel and tourism industry. The venue for the same is yet to be decided.
