Dragonair to enhance inflight entertainment on airbus A320 fleet

From November 2014, Dragonair will begin the next step in enhancing the passenger experience when it progressively introduces new products on its fleet of 15 A320 aircraft. In addition to installing new business class and economy class cabins, for the first time a comprehensive inflight entertainment system will be made available on Dragonair’s A320 fleet, offering each passenger access to their own choice of entertainment.
Early 2013 Dragonair have introduced a comprehensive upgrade of cabins across its Airbus A330 and A321 fleets. The upgrade included new first class, business class and economy class seats together with a brand-new on-demand inflight entertainment system, StudioKA

Some of the key product enhancements for the Airbus A320 include;
New Inflight Entertainment System
The A320 fleet will be installed with a wireless inflight entertainment streaming solution (Wireless IFE), offering passengers a wide range of entertainment options through StudioKA library.
Once passengers have downloaded the StudioKA Application to their personal electronic device they can connect to the in-cabin Wi-Fi network, enabling them to access inflight entertainment system and enjoy 80 Hollywood blockbusters and popular Asian movies, 500-plus Western and Asian TV programmes, music CDs, and 16 radio playlists. In Business Class, passengers will be provided with a tablet device to enjoy an additional selection of new-release and art-house movies, and more than 20 extra drama and comedy TV programmes.
