Brand USA conducts 3 city educational seminars in India
Brand USA has conducted another series of educational seminars ‘DiscoverAmerica’ targeting three cities of Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad held from February 11-13, 2015. These seminars witnessed a participation of 320 travel agents.
The objective of the seminar is to provide an in-depth information on tourism products and attractions from the United States. Brand USA also encouraged agents to become USA specialists by enrolling into the recently launched online training programme, ‘USA Discovery Programme’ hosted at usadiscoveryprogram.in. As of now, over 1,000 Indian travel agents have completed and over 1,300 have registered for the online training programme.
Brand USA partners who participated in the educational seminars included; Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, Visit California, Visit Florida, NYC & Company, Travel Oregon
In addition, officials from the US consulate were also present in three cities to update on US visa procedures.
