China C&D Travel Int’l Travel Service Company has decided to cash in on the Indian traveller’s rising interest in China with the opening of an office in Mumbai. Travel agents in India have been reporting that as Indian travellers want to explore the unseen, exotic and indigenous, destinations in China. A total of 6.8 lakh Indian travellers visited China in 2013 and 2014 is expected to have delivered three-five per cent growth. The China National Tourist Office is said to be targeting a sustained 10 per cent year-on-year growth as 2016 is expected to be observed as ‘Visit China’ year in India. This is a gesture of friendship in reciprocation of India declaring 2015 as ‘Visit India’ year for Chinese tourists.
