Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya is once again hosting the colourful and only Cherry Blossom Festival of India to celebrate the unique flowering of Himalayan cherry blossoms. It will be held from November 14 to 17, at various venues like Ward’s Lake, Tara Ghar, the Polo 2nd ground and the JN Stadium. The opening ceremony, will be followed by a drawing and painting competition. There is a dog show and sky diving as well. There is also traditional archery.
