Kemmangudi

Located in Chikmagalur district in Karnataka, Kemmanagundi is a hill station situated at a height of 1,434m above sea level. This was the summer retreat of Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV. Ringed by the Baba Budan Giri Range and blessed with silver cascades, mountain streams and lush vegetation, Kemmanagundi’s ornamental gardens, mountains and valley-views are popular among tourists. The sunset view from the Raj Bhavan is a favourite among photographers. For adventure, Kemmanagundi offers various peaks to scale and intricate jungle paths to explore.
