Located in the Andaman Sea, Barren Island is the only confirmed active volcano in South Asia. The waters surrounding Barren Island is known to be among the world’s top scuba diving destinations. The only way to reach this destination is by ship which goes to Barren Island from Phoenix Bay Jetty, Port Blair.
