Travelport, has announced an enhanced full content agreement with RAK Airways, one of the flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates. According to the agreement, the Galileo and Worldspan travel agency customers worldwide will continue to have full access to the airline’s fares and inventories. Under the agreement signed last year, RAK Airways has extended e-ticketing functionality to Travelport connected agents in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Nepal. RAK Airways will also work with Travelport to promote their routes via the innovative Sponsored Flights advertising channel.
Talking about the agreement, Sandeep Dwivedi, chief commercial officer, InterGlobe Technology Quotient said, “It is a privilege to be associated with one of the fastest growing global carriers in providing travel agents access to airline’s fares and inventories. This association would not only help us expand our global travel distribution needs but would also provide new opportunities and benefits to travel agents.”
