Tashi Air launches international route to Bhutan

Tashi Air, operating as Bhutan Airlines, has announced the launch of its international route to Bhutan with the inaugural flight between Paro and Bangkok.
Direct flights will initiate in Bangkok, where the airline’s A320 will be based. It will offer an economy and premium class, a total of 150 seats, and an international crew, pilots and cabin crew. Economy class fares will start at US$720(round trip) and US$360 (one-way), US$800 (round trip) and US$400 (one-way) for premium class seats.
During its first month of operation, Tashi Air will also offer travellers promotional discount fares, including 90 per cent for infants, 33 per cent for children, and 30 per cent for students. Travellers can also expect flights via Kolkata and Bagdogra to be available in the coming months.
The airline’s plans to expand its routes have been initiated and the company is currently looking at Dhaka, Bangladesh, Singapore, Nepal, Dubai, and Hong Kong as future destinations.
