Singapore Airlines increases flight frequency to India

Singapore Airlines and Silk Air shall extend its services from 98 to 107 times a week between India and Singapore, across 11 Indian cities: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram and Visakhapatnam with effect from October 27, 2013.
The newly added services are Singapore Airlines third daily service from New Delhi and Silk Air’s 10th and 4th weekly services from Kochi and Visakhapatnam respectively.
Commenting on the milestone, G M Toh, general manager India, Singapore Airlines said,“India is an extremely important market for the Singapore Airlines Group and the nine additional weekly services clearly demonstrates our commitment to growing business and tourism exchange between both countries. We look forward to further expanding our footprint in India with customer-centric investments focused on quality products and services.”
