The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has announced the extension of its strategic partnership with TripAdvisor, offering advice from real travellers and a wide variety of travel choices and planning features with seamless links to booking tools. TripAdvisor has the largest travel community in the world with over 60 million monthly visitors and sites in 30 countries worldwide.
The strategic partnership will facilitate further engagement on joint initiatives in publishing, research, surveys, events and advocacy. Most recently, TripAdvisor statistics were included in the recently released report on The Rise of the Young Asian Traveller, produced and published by PATA.
Commenting on the announcement, Martin Craigs, CEO, PATA, said, “Our strategic partnership with TripAdvisor benefits all our members and provides TripAdvisor with invaluable insight and access as it continues to expand its engagement across the Asia Pacific. This is a complementary partnership leveraging each other’s strengths as the travel world becomes ever more digital, mobile and consumer direct. TripAdvisor assists PATA Next Gen to next generation in its mindset and activities.”
