In a fillip to promote wildlife tourism in the state, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has organised a photo exhibition on the wildlife in Maharashtra. Starting from September 27, 2012, the four-day photo exhibition will give an opportunity to Mumbaikars, tourists and industry stakeholders to get a new perspective on tourism potentials in the state.
The exhibition will see contributions of some of the best photographers in India. The coffee table book compiled from these pictures is edited by Bittu Sahgal and Lakshmy Raman. Dr Jagdish Patil, managing director, MTDC, said, “We are paying a special attention to focus on wildlife tourism in Maharashtra. The flora and fauna in various places of this expansive state offers a delight to the wildlife tourists flocking across the country.”
The exhibition is open from September 27-30, 2012 at the Piramal Art Gallery, NCPA.
