Maldivian appoints AISATS as ground handling partner

Maldivian, the national carrier of Maldives, has appointed AISATS for ground handling services on the inaugural operations of its Airbus 320 aircraft to the Trivandrum International Airport. AISATS will be providing ground handling services to Maldivian’s flights operating twice daily on the Maldives – Trivandrum route. Speaking on the new collaboration, Willy Ko, CEO of AISATS said, “We congratulate Maldivian on the launch of its A320 flight services to Trivandrum International Airport. This partnership represents a prestigious addition to our customer base. We look forward to adding more value to the airline’s services as well as contributing to the seamless experience at the Trivandrum airport. It is our endeavour to ensure smooth tourism between the two destinations by enhancing passenger experiences at the Trivandrum airport.”
As part of their India expansion plan, the Maldivian has enhanced their connectivity to include Mumbai and Chennai, while increasing passenger capacity from Trivandrum with the A320, narrow body aircraft.
