From June 15 to September 2, 2012, shopaholics of the world will drop everything and dash off to Malaysia as the Mega Sale Carnival is back.
Shop And Save’ is the theme of the Carnival, as it’s an opportunity for shoppers given a choice of major brands and the latest introductions – from electronics to apparel, home décor to holiday packages, as well as entertainment activities.
The Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival offers a spread of bargains, discounts, promotions and activities to shoppers in association with leading shopping malls, department stores, retailers and even vendors from street markets and industry partners. Many of the shopping centers organise special entertainment events, food promotions, attractive incentive programs and contests to add more excitement to the overall shopping experience.
At present, Tourism Malaysia’s shopping secretariat is organising events and incentives for shoppers, such as the ‘1 Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival Shopping Card’ which offers discounts at participating retail outlets, special rates for rail travel, excess baggage allowance on local/ international flights, a MasterCard contest and redemption card, among others.
