Lavasa sets up Tourist Information Centre
ETW STAFF – Mumbai
Visitors to Lavasa this monsoon will receive useful tips about the must-see locations and also get to know about hitherto unknown interesting spots in and around Lavasa, courtesy the all-new Tourist Information Centre.
The Tourist Information Centre is located alongside the Lavasa promenade at Portofino Street and will be open every day between 9 am and 6 pm. It will be integral in creating a positive travel experience for visitors through the provision of friendly and professional customer service and useful travel information.
In addition to offering guidance to tourists on attractions at Lavasa, the recently inaugurated centre will also facilitate stay and travel arrangements. For people travelling on business, the centre will facilitate conference hall bookings. The centre also houses a gift shop, showcasing local handicraft, a huge array of arts, crafts and souvenirs for sale.
Rajgopal Nogja, group COO and whole-time director, Hindustan Construction Company said, “Arriving in a new city can be daunting to first-time travellers, especially if they don’t know where to go for reliable information on accommodation options, transportation or how to book activities. Now, help is at hand from our brand-new Tourism Information Centre which is conveniently located to provide visitors with a variety of information – from entertainment, dining, business facilities, fitness centres, therapy, shopping to holiday packages and upcoming events – to ensure that they experience the best that Lavasa has to offer.”
