Korean Air chairman & CEO Yang Ho Cho has been re-elected to the IATA (International Air Transport Association) Board of Governors for a three-year term at the 69th IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Cape Town, South Africa.
This is Cho’s seventh election to the Board since 1996. Having worked in the airline industry for more than 30 years since 1974, Cho was named chairman and CEO of Korean Air in April 1999, and has served as president and CEO since 1992. In total, this year’s service will be Cho’s fourteenth year of membership on the Board of Governors.
