KLM to celebrate 95 years with offers for India market

KLM Royal Dutch Airline will celebrate 95 years of its journey in the aviation industry on October 7, 2014. To mark this milestone, the airline will connect with its customers and acquaint them with the spirit of KLM during check-in and on board from India. For KLM flight of October 7, 2014 ex Delhi, the airline plans to welcome all its passengers with eggless pastries and give away special souvenirs. To create the birthday atmosphere, check-in counters on ground will be seen decorated around symbolic ‘blue spirit’ of KLM.
Marking the occasion, Yeshwant Pawar, general manager, Air France – KLM, South Asia, said, “This will truly be a proud moment as we will celebrate 95 years of the existence of the world’s oldest airline operating in its original name. Also, the airline has launched a 10 day social media campaign on September 28, 2014 in India, highlighting KLM’s journey so far. The airline will share nine short movies, one each day, reflecting on KLM’s illustrious past and a preview to the future.
