IndiGo introduces ‘Advance Pass’ service

IndiGo, low-cost and low-carbon airline has introduced ‘Advance Pass’ service. Under the free of charge service, the passenger will be checked in and receive the boarding pass in their mail inbox 48 hours prior to the departure at no extra charges. The passenger will be required to print the boarding pass before arriving at the airport for a hassle free experience. However, in case if they are unable to print the pass, they can collect the boarding pass from the airport by following a regular queue. The passengers can also drop their bags at the bag drop counters which are available at major airports.
Aditya Ghosh, president, IndiGo, said, “At IndiGo we are constantly striving to make our passenger experience courteous and hassle free. We have been the first in many domains be it the boarding ramps, the Stairlifts and now the Advance Pass. The objective behind this initiative is to make the journey of passengers more hassle free by reducing the wait time for check-in.”
