IndiGo announces six new flights

IndiGo, low-cost and low-carbon airline has announced six new flights connecting six destinations, Delhi, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Vizag, Ranchi, and Kolkata. Effective March 30, 2014, the schedule sees the introduction of new daily flights between Bengaluru-Bhubaneswar and Vizag and from April 6, 2014, eighth daily non-stop flight between Delhi and Bengaluru, fifth daily non-stop flight between Bengaluru and Kolkata and between Bengaluru and Ranchi via Kolkata and first non-stop flight between Kolkata and Ranchi.
Elaborating on the new flights, Aditya Ghosh, president and executive director, IndiGo said, “IndiGo has always promoted offers that add immense value to our passengers’ travel in addition to a great flying experience. These new flights have been added basis encouraging feedback by our passengers, especially from Ranchi, Vizag and Bhubaneswar. It is our constant endeavour to provide more flexibility and choice for our customers as IndiGo continues to offer them on time, hassle free and always affordable flying experiences.”
Earlier in the month, IndiGo, had also launched effective March 15 new daily non-stop flights between Delhi to Dibrugarh and return via Guwahati – Kolkata and Lucknow to Srinagar via Delhi. The summer schedule also saw the introduction of third non-stop flight from Delhi to Bhubaneshwar and Guwahati, fifth non-stop flight from Delhi to Lucknow and Srinagar and sixth non-stop flight between Delhi to Hyderabad.
