IndiGo adds 12 new flights

IndiGo, India’s low-cost and low-carbon airline has announced 12 new daily flights, consolidating its connectivity in metros, effective August 3, 2014. The new schedule would see the introduction of second daily non-stop flight between Mumbai and Indore and fourth daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Pune. Also, the airlines will introduce its first daily non-stop flight between Indore and Hyderabad, second non-stop daily flight between Hyderabad and Vizag, third daily non-stop flight between Mumbai and Indore and sixth daily non-stop flight between Mumbai and Kolkata.

Elaborating on the new flights, Aditya Ghosh, president, IndiGo, said, “Last year and in 2014 so far, IndiGo has consolidated its domestic leadership by providing seamless connectivity between the metros and tier I-II cities. We at IndiGo are delighted to offer the enhanced connections now between Delhi-Pune and Mumbai-Indore. The additional flights effective August 3, 2014 connecting Mumbai, Kolkata, Indore and Hyderabad are testimony to the growing vote of confidence our services enjoy on these popular routes.”
