The Airline had recorded the second highest load factor of 81.8 per cent in May and latest figures reflects a steady growth.
Giorgio De Roni, CEO, GoAir, said, “The results are a direct reflection of the airlines increasing total carriage capacity in metro to non-metro routes which has shown a consistent growth. We have committed our attention to this, by allotting 70 per cent of our capacity on routes such as Srinagar, Pune, Goa, Nagpur and Patna, which are the strongest non-metro catchment areas.”
The airline accomplished a profitable fiscal growth in 2013 – 14, despite a weak rupee against the USD and high cost of jet fuel in the country. The airline is set to cross 6.5 million passengers in 2014 – 15, with new routes in Kolkata, Nagpur Pune and Patna sectors and additional capacity on Srinagar, Guwahati, Bagdogra, Leh, Kochi, Jaipur and Lucknow routes.
