Club Med conducted a three-day visit to two of their most popular resorts Club Med, Kani Maldives and Club Med Phuket, Thailand to gain firsthand experience for their travel agents at the resort. This initiative was a part of creating Club Med Specialist and also to gain awareness of the all-inclusive concept. Twenty five travel agents from across north and south India participated with three of their Key Agents- Gemini tours and travels, Cruisotel and travel care.
The first leg of the Club Med Specialist initiative was conducted at Club Med Kani, Maldives on September 28, 2013 and the second was conducted on September 10, 2013 at Club Med Phuket, Thailand.
The most popular resorts amongst Indian clientele are Kani, Maldives, Bintan & Bali, Indonesia and Phuket beach resort. The other options in Asia are our nature resort in Cherating, Malaysia or luxurious La Plantation D’Albion, Mauritius.
