To kick start 2013 on the right track, Rail Europe has launched the first phase of its large promotional program – which traditionally takes place in Q1- to boost the sales prior to the holiday season. The second phase will consist of the ‘Rail Europe Birthday’ promotions, and will be unveiled in a few days.
Promotions apply on BritRail passes, Swiss Passes, German Rail Passes and Eurail Global Passes. These are the details of the same:
- Buy a BritRail or BritRail England Pass before February 15, 2013 and get a 20 per cent discount for travel before February 28, 2013.
- Buy a four-day Swiss Pass in 1st Class until April 26, 2013 for travel until April 30, 2013 and get an extra day of free travel
- Travellers who intend to discover more of Europe will be able to spend up to five extra days of free travel, taking in the beauty and history of the old continent, when touring around on the Eurail Global Pass in 1st or 2nd Class.
