Avis Car Rental, has announced the launch of mobile Wi-Fi across 12 markets in Europe. Avis UK customers will have access to one GB per day internet access for £8.50 per day.
The mobile Wi-Fi unit means users can connect up to five devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other Wi-Fi enabled devices, at any one time. Its compact, portable design means it can be taken out of the car, to the hotel, conference or business meeting. With Avis mobile Wi-Fi, customers now have cross-border connectivity, with no roaming charges, a first for the car hire industry in Europe.
Mark Servodidio, managing director, Avis UK, said, “Every year 6.78 million business people make a trip abroad from UK airports to attend that all-important meeting or seal a business deal, so being able to stay connected is an essential part of any business trip.”
