Air France introduces 3rd edition of ‘Fashion with Air France’

Air France India has announced another opportunity for all aspiring fashion designers. Air France in partnership with renowned Indian fashion designer Manish Arora has launched a Facebook contest “Fashion with Air France” for all potential designers to showcase their talent.
Commenting on the occasion, Yeshwant Pawar, general manager-South Asia, Air France-KLM, said, “We were very thrilled with the response received from the last two seasons and are therefore very happy to revive this contest and give these talents yet another chance to explore the city of fashion and bring home some of the latest international trends. We have elaborated the contest this year giving designers a chance to showcase their skills in various themes. We also believe contests like these helps us to strengthen our social media engagement with the customers.”
The designers are required to design the garment from scratch or put together an ensemble of ready to wear garments and click pictures of themselves or their friends wearing the outfit. These pictures are then to be uploaded on the “Fashion with Air France” contest tab. After which contestants are required to invite their friends to vote for their collection.
They can upload designs as per the weekly themesd below: week one: Indian wedding festive; week two: cozy chic effortless; week three: floral collections; week four: black tie formal
Each week, the top five collections with maximum votes will qualify to be the weekly winners and out of them one weekly winner will be selected by Manish Arora and awarded with Air France merchandise. At the end of the contest, top 10 participants will be shortlisted and the creative best out of these will be chosen as the “Grand Prize Winner” by Manish Arora. Further, Manish Arora will choose a participant who will qualify to intern with him for two months.
