Book and Bed Tokyo is “an accommodation bookshop”. More a hostel than a hotel, a signature colour blue sofa is in the common space with many books hanging from the ceiling. The big bookshelf stores upto 5,000 books in English and Japanese. The perfect setting for a good night’s sleep is something you will not find here. There are no comfortable mattresses, fluffy pillows nor lightweight and warm down duvets. What the hotel offers is an experience while reading a book (or comic book). A haven for bibliophiles! There are 20 beds (three types – Standard, Compact and River View), a shared toilet and bathroom. Book lights, curtain, clothes hanger/Wifi connection/outlet come with each space.
