Jingdenzhen International Pottery and Porcelain Festival
The town of Jingdezhen in the northeastern Jiangxi province, has been producing porcelain since 1700 years and is known as the porcelain capital of China. The Jingdenzhen International Pottery and Porcelain Festival is held every year from October 1 to 31. Porcelain from Tang Dynasty (618 – 907) to Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1911) as well as porcelain works created by modern eminent pottery masters will be on display. Visitors also have a chance to make and paint porcelain themselves.
