Hebden Folk Roots Festival, Yorkshire
Situated in the Pennine town of Hebden Bridge, the place is full of cafes, pubs, venues along with an intimate music festival full of great sounds, great beer and a beautiful countryside. Hebden Bridge is filled with some lovely stone terraces and Victorian villas. The Hebden Bridge Roots Festival is run by a group of musicians, enthusiasts and folk-loving people who live in Hebden Bridge. Created organically, the folk and roots festival covers a wide variety of roots music, from folk and blues to ska and americana. Along with this there are also sessions, workshops and street performers. One can also visit The Little Theatre in Hebden Bridge that has been producing plays since 1924 even though venues have varied finally creating its own permanent home by converting a coach garage, which seats around 120 people at a time. The festival will start on May 11 and will continue till May 13, 2018.
