Known as one of Nairobi’s most iconic buildings, the Giraffe Manor has an amazing appeal, that dates back to the 1930s. That was the time when European visitors first flocked to East Africa to enjoy safaris. From its stately façade and green gardens to chirpy courtyards, guests that stay here feel like they are walking into the film Out of Africa. But the most interesting thing about Giraffe Manor is its herd of resident Rothschild’s giraffe.
