Atlantis, The Palm now offers the thrill of Shark Safari diving in the Shark Lagoon at Aquaventure! Previously, underwater adventures were only for certified scuba divers, but the Shark Safari helmet allows non certified people to become marine explorers, and even walk underwater for a fish eye perspective on the world.
Shark Safari utilises the Sea Trek underwater system which has been engineered for comfort, safety and reliability. The system requires little training, just a small information session and anyone between the ages of eight and 80 can participate in a Shark Safari journey, regardless of swimming skill or physical ability. During the 20 minute Shark Safari, participants will get up close and personal with the many Black Tip Reef Sharks, rare Marble Rays and other exotic and colourful fishes that call the Atlantis Shark Lagoon home.
