ixigo acqui-hires content sharing tech startup, Reach
Travel search marketplace ixigo has acqui-hired the team of mobile content sharing app, Reach. As part of the deal, the Reach team will be joining ixigo to help enhance ixigo’s existing products.

Our main aim has always been to simplify the lives of travellers. With their technology prowess and innovative thinking, together we expect to churn out a lot of smart offerings for our users. Reach brings oodles of enthusiasm along, assuring us and users of some awesome developments ahead.”
Launched in 2015, Reach is a mobile app which allows its users to browse and download music, games, apps and other consumable content directly from their friends’ mobile devices. The founding team raised around US$ 500,000 of funding earlier this year from Rebright Partners along with a few angel investors such as Ankur Warikoo, Ankur Singla, Sudhir Anandarao, Durgesh Kaushik, Anunay Gupta, Pritesh Gupta and Sol Primero.
