Monaco Tourism entices Indian travellers with lifestyle offerings

Monaco Tourism recently organised a fashion event for Indian fashion industry and corporate dignitaries, to showcase the destination’s history, culture, arts, luxury and fashion offerings. Renowned international fashion designer Ritu Beri; Amitabh Kant, CEO of Niti Ayog; Anil Lepps, CEO of Indiabulls and Shiv Jatia, CMD, Asian Hotels, were some attendees at th event.

The event was hosted by Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority officials including Guillaunme Rose, president; Eric Marsan, sales and marketing director; and Corinne Kiabski, press and communication deputy director.

With rich history and views of Mediterranean, combined with 300 days of sunshine and mild weather, Monaco offers numerous experiences to travellers.

Giving Indian wedding planners an insight into the principality, Monaco Tourism also partnered with India’s first wedding destination show, Indian Wedding Travel Mart, in July as one of the lead country partners. It engaged with local wedding planners and designers to encourage high net-worth and upper middle-class families to host weddings overseas.

Monaco hosts over 700 international level events around the year. Some of the renowned ones are Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, Monte-Carlo Rolex Tennis which takes place in Monte-Carlo Country Club. Other events in the principality include International Circus Festival, Monte-Carlo Opera, Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival and Monte-Carlo Historic Grand Prix.

Monaco has the green flora and calm weather of the Côte d’Azur. It’s a seven minute helicopter ride from Nice. The destination is renowed for designer boutiques, posh hotels, luxury yachts, gourmet offerings, amd personalised experiences.
