The Bungalow on the Beach, Tamil Nadu
The Bungalow on the Beach in Tharangambadi, Tamil Nadu, is one of the unique honeymoon destinations in India, revitalised by the Neemrana group. An early 14th century Pandya temple on the left and a 17th century Danish fort to the right makes The Bungalow on the Beach one of the most distinctive hotels in Nagapattinam district. The various rooms are named after Danish ships such as Christianus Septimus, Countess Moltke, Crown Prince of Denmark, Prince Christian and Princess Louise. Danish art from the colonial also makes it an ideal choice for film directors to portray a history. The 17th century colonial home can also hold small conferences throughout the year.
