ADTOI announces the theme for their 7th convention in Khajuraho

The seventh Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) convention-cum-exhibition is to be held in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh from April 8-11, 2016. The theme for the forthcoming convention – ‘Domestic Tourism- Billion + Opportunities’ was announced at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Jyoti Kapur, president ADTOI, explained, “The times are changing and now tourism has also become technology driven. With the competition and new innovations, we need to adopt to survive with the times. The convention would take up all these topics during discussions.” Taking about Madhya Pradesh as the host he shared, “Madhya Pradesh is a melting pot of cultures and history. As we take the convention to the state, we look forward to promoting it as a tourist destination.”

Sanjay Aggarwal, convention chairman, informed, “The prime objective of conducting this convention at Khajuraho, is to bring it on the domestic tourism map. Tourism is an important component for development in terms of economy, knowledge and welfare. Focusing on the theme the convention will offer a lot of brainstorming sessions, which may answer a lot of questions that arise on a daily basis. Today’s business challenges need to be addressed jointly and understood in collaboration”

Om Vijay Chaudhary, executive director, Madhya Pradhesh Tourism, said, “We welcome ADTOI as they host their seventh convention. Khajuraho has a rich history that surely needs to be promoted with a different angle for the domestic tourists. The neighbouring areas like Panna National Park are equally a sight to watch and well connected through roads. We hope this convention proves a success for ADTOI as well as the tourism for the state.”
